Making A Purchase: Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy to the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept Visa and Mastercard credit card payment via Paypal. Paypal allows you to simply use a credit or debit card for immediate payment. During purchasing please note the small yellow padlock in the right lower corner of your browser - it indicates that our online shop is very secure!

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us.
We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for a reason.
If in the unlikely event any of the scenarios above present themselves, we will get in touch immediately to ask if you would prefer to order another item of equal value, or if you would like a full refund.

Shipping And Handling: Purdys Lingerie packs all items very securely using bubble wrap and cardboard boxes. If the item is small enough we will also use padded envelopes. Please rest assured that it is our mission to make sure that you recieve your goods in pristine condition!
We then post the goods using your choice of Royal Mail first class, Royal Mail or Royal second class service. We advise you to consider the value and weight of the order before choosing to use standard Royal Mail first class as it does not allow for insurance or a recorded delivery.

Delivery Schedule: We process your order as soon as possible. Please allow up to 2-3 working days for delivery although we do our best to shorten this. As we are committed to providing the best service we can, should the item you have purchased take longer than 30 days to be delivered to you, we will offer a full refund of any monies paid.

Tax Charges: For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is is included. 

Credit Card Security: When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. The small yellow padlock in the lower right corner of your browser indicates that the site is secure during purchasing.
The Paypal servers (our payment processor) are extremely secure and process the payments for us and you. We do not receive any credit card numbers, only notification that the payment was authorised and completed. They are also not held in clear text on any web site.

Guarantee: We guarantee your satisfaction. If an item is temporarily unavailable for any reason or has a longer lead time, we will notify you of the revised despatch date. If this is not suitable - we will provide a full refund.

Returns Policy: Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm.

Here is a our returns policy if you wish to return your goods or cancel your order:

The returned item must be accompanied by the relevant Invoice/Delivery Note. All original packaging must be retained for returns/refund purposes.

Unwanted items returned for refund or exchange, for whatever reason, will be subject to a re-stocking charge of 5% of the purchase value.
No restocking charge will be made where goods are returned where the consumer has exercised their right to reject the delivery. Items returned for refund after 30 days of purchase will be refunded at the price current at the time of refund.

All packaging material must please be retained. If for any reason the goods are returned, they must be returned in their original packaging material. If original packaging is not used, the Seller will not be responsible for any damage caused during transit.
Additionally, the Seller will make a charge for supplying new packaging material. Proof of despatch must be retained until safe receipt is acknowledged by the Seller.

If you are a consumer you have the right, in addition to your other rights, to cancel the contract. However, we will only accept unwanted products for refund within 7 days of delivery, provided that the goods are complete with all relevant packaging in an unused and re-saleable condition.
You must inform us in writing of your desire to cancel within seven working days starting on the day after the day the goods are delivered to you. You must return the goods to us at your cost and we advise you to ensure the goods are adequately insured during any return journey.

Refunds are processed at our discretion; please allow 28 days for funds to be received, We are not responsible for any charges incurred by the buyer during this period.
